... A Texas State Championship Regional Contest

Date: June 30th & July 1st

The Events:

1) Random Duration (expect 90 seconds to be drawn to align with this year's

Carlisle event at NARAM), 2) B Streamer Duration, 3) B Parachute Duration, 4) B

SuperRoc Duration, 5) B Boost Glider & 6) Sport Scale. A beta trial of

ProSport Scale, will be held concurrently with Sport Scale and have separate

awards. See the link listed below for details.

Specifications: The events will be conducted in accordance with the United

States Sports Modeling Codes (aka Pink Book).

Tentative Schedule:

Saturday 0800 - 1200 Morning flying window

1200 - 1300 Lunch break & Scale entry public display

1300 - 1700 Afternoon flying window

1700 - 1800 Dinner break & Scale entry turn-in

1800 - dusk Evening flying window

Sunday 0800 - 1300 Launch window

1300 - 1400 Contest flying closes

1400 Awards

Special Provisions:

Field Status & Gate Passes - Access to the field is presently being worked

between the club and JSC. We expect to receive and announce the final word

soon. Gate passes will be required and will be provided to those who

preregistrating at the website listed below. Preregistration *ends* Wednesday

June 27th midnite. Passes will be available for pick up Saturday morning at

the Building 110 Visitor Badging office located near the guard gate by the

Saturn V display.

Check In - We encourage fliers to check in all of their motors when

registering. While you may certainly change your choice of motors throughout

the weekend, this will reduce overall time spent for check-in.

NARTREK Qualifiers - A & B division fliers completing applicable NARTREK

qualifying flights at this contest will receive an entry fee refund. Please

have your NARTREK paper on hand.

Make up Date - THERE WILL NOT BE A RAIN DATE AND IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER,

NO MAKE UP...
