Directions to the launch site:
From Houston, take US 290 west to Hempstead. Then turn north on Hwy. 6 to Hearne (6 merges with US190 at College Station) Continue on 6 trough Hearne and turn left on 485.
From Austin, take US 79 to Hearne. In Hearne, 79 turns north. Then left on 485
From Dallas, either go IH 35 to Waco, then Hwy 6 to Hearne. OR IH 45 to Buffalo and US 79 to Hearne. Turn right on 485.
The road to the launch site is about one mile from the intersection of 485 and 6/ 190/79.
Follow that road and enter airport (about mid field - just past the old Chekoslovakian jet trainer). Drive south on the taxi way past a few hangars to the launch site.
